Maximize Your Visit to Grand Teton National Park
To help you make the most of your time in Grand Teton’s National Park, I’ve created a custom map to guide you. Wilderness permit locations are marked in purple, and blue markers highlight great hikes.
Tips for Using the Map:
- Zoom in for more details: As you zoom in on an area, icons marking various points of interest will appear. Clicking these icons reveals photos, which can help you preview destinations or locate campsites.
- Explore campsite details: Zooming in on purple markers will also reveal camp icons for near by drive-in sites.
- Preview trails: Key features of trails are marked with icons—click them to see pictures in the left sidebar. Clicking a picture opens a gallery of 10 relevant images (it will close when you scroll past the last image).
Trail Tips:
Many trails have shorter or longer variations, and I’ve included some of these options in the dropdown section of Recommended Hikes.
Additional Resources:
- Top Ten Trails in Grand Teton National Park: Explore highly rated routes and plan your hikes.
- Wilderness Permits on Recreation.gov: Reserve your permit in advance for easier planning.
I hope this map makes it simple to locate the activities that interest you most and helps you efficiently coordinate and navigate your visit.
